Scifest Africa seeks to promote the awareness, understanding and appreciation of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Innovation in South Africa, on the African continent and the rest of the world.

We are a project of the Grahamstown Foundation, a not-for-profit public benefit organisation established in 1969 and based in Makhanda (formerly Grahamstown), Eastern Cape.

You can support our National Science Festival and various outreach programmes by making a donation, which will afford Scifest Africa the opportunity to extend the reach of our science communication and engagement, as we continue to inspire the youth to pursue careers in STEMI and achieve a science literate society.
